Gold Resource Drilling to Commence at Brilliant Prospect
Summary
Highlights
Resource definition drilling is set to commence at the Brilliant Gold Prospect, part of Flynn’s flagship Golden Ridge Project, Tasmania.
Initial 21-hole, 2,500m drilling program will comprise in-fill and extensional drilling to support Mineral Resource studies at Brilliant.
Latest assay results from trench sampling confirms a continuous near-surface gold mineralised footprint over more than 110m of strike, remaining open to the northeast, including:
BTR01A: 20m @ 0.60 g/t Au, including 9m @ 0.84 g/t Au
BTR01B: 28m @ 0.34 g/t Au, including 10m @ 0.53 g/t Au
BTR02: 33m @ 0.56 g/t Au, including 11m @ 1.04 g/t Au
BTR04: 32m @ 0.37 g/t Au, including 10m @ 0.77 g/t Au
Limited testing of near-surface gold mineralisation at Brilliant by previous drilling, providing an opportunity for the upcoming program to systematically define this zone and assess its potential for future mining.
The program forms part of Flynn’s accelerated project development pathway in Tasmania following the recent registration of Mining Lease Application 6M/2026 and execution of the non-binding Ore Purchase Agreement with Henty Gold Mine.
Planning also underway for additional resource definition drilling at the Trafalgar prospect plus exploration step-out drilling between and along-trend from the Brilliant and Trafalgar prospects.
