Pilbara
Flynn Gold’s two projects in the Pilbara – Mt Dove Au-Li and Yarrie Au-Li – comprise ten tenements and applications over 594km2 to the east and south of Port Hedland, in an area which has become highly sought after in recent years.
By securing the two projects, Flynn Gold established a strong ground position near world-class gold and lithium deposits, including the Hemi Gold Project, the Pilgangoora Lithium Mine and the Wodgina Lithium mine and the Tabba Tabba Lithium deposit.
The Mt Dove project features two granted exploration licences south of De Grey Mining’s (ASX: DEG) Hemi gold discovery, three granted exploration licences south of Fortescue Metals Group’s (ASX:FMG) Ironbridge project and one application to the east-southeast of Hemi.
The Yarrie project comprises three tenements and one application along strike from the historic Goldsworthy mining district east of Port Hedland. Both areas have received limited exploration but have excellent access to mining infrastructure. Preliminary targeting using geophysical data and historical exploration reports commenced in 2023 with groundwork to follow.
Flynn Gold has completed two soil sampling programs at Mt Dove which have identified lithium and gold anomalies within E45/5055. Follow-up exploration will consist of drilling through the shallow transported cover to test for lithium and gold mineralisation in the underlying bedrock.
