Flynn Gold’s two West Australian projects, Mt Dove (“Hemi South”) and Shay Gap, comprise six tenements and applications over 448km2 to the west and south of Port Hedland, WA in an emerging gold camp which has become highly sought after in recent years.
The Mt Dove project features a granted tenement south of De Grey Mining’s (ASX: DEG) Hemi gold discovery and two applications to the south-west of Hemi in WA’s Pilbara region.
The Shay Gap project comprises three tenement applications along strike from the historic Goldsworthy mining district west of Port Hedland.
Both areas have received limited exploration but have excellent access to mining infrastructure.
Flynn plans to undertake ground gravity and magnetics, regional soil sampling and reconnaissance percussion drilling at Mt Dove in 2021 while the focus at Shay Gap will be gravity and magnetics surveys once the tenements are granted.
